Saturday morning
Just done my shakeout run for my marathon tomorrow
I'll be honest, this week I have been a little concerned
I have three coaching clients doing marathons this weekend
Three the week after
And three the week after that
There has been a surprising lack of questions
Which, initially, concerned me
But then it clicked
The members of my community know exactly what they are doing
So they don't need to ask questions
That's what experience and simplicity do
I see so many runners get suckered into complexity
Flashy, detailed plans sold as "bespoke."
Over reliance on technology
Over reliance on fancy names and training modes
Nothing wrong with this if used correctly
But it isn't
It's used as validation for support
Guess what an effective coach does?
>> Get results <<
And there are only two things you need for that
1) Absolute clarity
2) Accountability
Now look, it's a marathon
There are a ton of variables that go into this
But I can guarantee one thing
My guys will be standing at the start line, ready
And I am looking forward to the results
So, if you want to strip out the layers of complexity and run your best this year?
Drop me a reply here.
Until next time.
