1.The Lie Assignment

I am not sure what is meant by lottery system. But I just finished getting AA in Film Production at Santa Monica College. I learned some stuff but not enough to feel comfortable in this industry. I do feel you only scratch the surface of this industry in college. We did make one short film, and the days were long, and it definitely was not easy. I am older and starting over in life after 28 years in the military. I do not have time spinning my wheels trying to figure this industry out, but it does seem like folks build their kingdoms. They do seem to keep the information to themselves. I appreciate AJ trying to share his knowledge of the industry. My biggest take away is to bet on self. My biggest concern is not getting traction in this industry because I don't know how much time I have left. Time is one of the most valuable things in life. Life is short and tomorrow is not promised to anyone.
