Roadmap Assignment
Assignment #1: Will I use this strategy? Yes I will use the strategy, it sounds like the most natural next steps because its using things that are available to me today. Assignment #2: If yes, what are my 3 biggest roadblocks? If not, what are the reasons? 1. Creating the story that's the most true to my voice, I think it might take time to find my voice. 2. Finding crew, but that's doable. 3. Things i'm not knowledgeable in yet, like post production.

@Emily Slaughter Carver That's one way to think about it. The reason why I said that is because some things I write are filtered through my fear of what other people might think, so I don't write what I actually want to say because it's scary. I'm not aware of when I hold myself back, It's only felt when the product is finished and it doesn't ring true to my soul, I "sort of" like it, but not really. So by finding my voice, I mean to create a film without any of those filters, some of which I might not be aware of.
📣 New Course Drop: The INVESTORLESS Feature Film
The Investorless Feature Film Course is Live Inside the Community Alright, filmmakers — this is the big one. The full Investorless Feature Film course (aka The Indie Film Flywheel) is now live in the Classroom tab. If you’ve been serious about making your first feature — without waiting for permission, investors, or “someday” — this is the step-by-step roadmap you’ve been looking for. Why you should take it (right now): 🎯 Clarity: Learn the only replicable career strategy that works for actors, writers, and directors — making a small, personal feature with the resources you already have. 🔥 Speed: Cut years of trial-and-error and get from idea → finished film faster than you thought possible. 📈 Momentum: Build a career flywheel where every film fuels the next — bigger audience, better collaborators, and more opportunities each time. 🚫 No Fundraising Required: Avoid the endless investor hunt. This approach is designed to keep you creating now, not waiting. 🤝 Collaboration: Learn how to attract the right collaborators without begging or chasing — and why the right people will want to work with you. 💡 Proven Examples: See how filmmakers like Greta Gerwig, Christopher Nolan, Robert Rodriguez, and Sean Baker used this exact principle to break into the industry. Plus, there’s a $500 reward if you finish in 5 days. This isn’t just a gimmick. I want to keep this community lean and full of action-takers. If you finish on time, you’ll unlock a filmmaking tool I’ve only shared with my private clients. This course is $1, but will be sold online for $47. Just to find filmmakers that are serious. 👉 Go to the Classroom tab now and click “Investorless Feature Film” to begin. Let’s get that first film in the can. – AJ Rome

Review: This course opened my mind to new practical action steps that I haven't thought of before. Instead of just living by chance, submitting to auditions and being unsure how it will go, I can always move forward in my career by being my own creator.
Title: 3. The TRUTH Assignment
Assignment #1: My biggest takeaway is: All the steps sound very practical and doable. I'm taking away that it is possible for me to be the one that creates opportunities and jobs for others, plus it's something that shouldn't be hard but fun because the story should stem from my core and not from trying to be like anyone else. My greatest asset that I have is myself. Assignment #2: My biggest concern/challenge is I think my biggest obstacle that I will need to overcome is my fear of being seen authentically and limiting self beliefs. All the actions are possible, but if I don't believe that i can do it, or if i don't believe in myself, then I'll just be too afraid to take action. I'm glad that I'm aware, and i have my personal strategies to overcome those limiting doubts, like meditation, but if anything holds me back, it will be my old identity.
1. The Lie assignment
1. What’s one “Lottery System” you’ve tried? I haven't tried anything like that because i'm still starting out. I'm mostly taking acting classes and auditioning for roles that I like but most of them are on the bottom of the tier, like student films, or no pay projects. What I was going to do to level up is to gather my footage, (I have a plan for my reel), and my other marketing materials, to get a well known agent, that was for next year, but now I'm interested in what my actions would be from this courses advice. 1. What did it cost you (money, time, energy)? Honestly my journey has been a breeze so far because all the action that i was taking stemed from how big my mindset was at that time, and the more i change my mindset the bigger and easier my actions seem to get. I don't have regret on the money i spent for my acting classes because it gave me a technique to fall back on and a good community. The time I've spent has been fun, but now I feel like it's time to up my game, elevate my mindset to greater limits and get more things accomplished. 1. What’s your biggest takeaway from this video? It sounds like it all falls back on 'YOU' or me, showing me, my most authentic self. I don't know what that means yet as i will soon find out, but it resonates with me because one of my struggles has been to make sure I always stay true to myself. I have big aspirations, but I never want to get there by doing anything that doesn't align with myself, and even submitting auditions that I don't care for falls into that category which is why I've been avoiding them.
