Yes, I will use this strategy. It makes perfect sense and parallels what I’ve learned on my entrepreneurial journey, but with significant movie industry knowledge I haven’t had. The three biggest roadblocks I have right now are 1) I’ve just launched a toy line, so I need to balance this film project with the time needed for that. 2) Budgeting for and choosing which of your programs is the best fit for me right now 3) Setting a timeline based on those factors which allows me to get my film completed as quickly as possible.

My biggest takeaway is that making movies is the best way to prove to people that you have what it takes to make movies full time, like working out and building up muscles to play football. My biggest concern/challenge is; I’ve been told that funding a film yourself is not a good idea, because it’s very unlikely that you’ll ever make that money back. My biggest challenge is finding a story that I can make on a micro-budget, but also a story that is engaging and thrilling.
