Is it decision fatigueâŚ
or decision avoidance?
We say weâre overwhelmed.
That decisions are exhausting.
But most of the time, we already know what to do.
The problem isnât information.
Itâs attentionâwith no action attached.
The steps required to change a life feel too big.
Too costly.
Too demanding for women already stretched thin.
So nothing changes.
Generation after generation.
What shifted for me wasnât motivationâit was management.
I stopped filling every quiet moment with noise or caretaking.
I created time windows instead.
Nothing dramatic happens there.
Thatâs the point.
When I stopped cramming those spaces with distractions or demands, I found my real capacityânot to fix everything, but to handle my own problems.
Quiet time didnât make me less present.
It made me clearer.
Mothers arenât entitled to time.
We manage it.
And when we do, time becomes a gift we give ourselvesâ
often while sipping something warm.
