🌙 Midnight Musing
Is it decision fatigue…
or decision avoidance?
We say we’re overwhelmed.
That decisions are exhausting.
But most of the time, we already know what to do.
The problem isn’t information.
It’s attention—with no action attached.
The steps required to change a life feel too big.
Too costly.
Too demanding for women already stretched thin.
So nothing changes.
Generation after generation.
What shifted for me wasn’t motivation—it was management.
I stopped filling every quiet moment with noise or caretaking.
I created time windows instead.
Nothing dramatic happens there.
That’s the point.
When I stopped cramming those spaces with distractions or demands, I found my real capacity—not to fix everything, but to handle my own problems.
Quiet time didn’t make me less present.
It made me clearer.
Mothers aren’t entitled to time.
We manage it.
And when we do, time becomes a gift we give ourselves—
often while sipping something warm.
