Before the Noise
Before the noise arrives, decide what doesn’t get your energy today. Not everything deserves a response. Not every thought needs a conclusion. Let the day come to you instead of chasing it.
Midday
This afternoon we’ll begin Subtract for Sanity at 4:30. It’s not a challenge and it’s not another thing to keep up with. It’s a short experiment in removing unnecessary mental weight. You don’t need to prepare. You don’t need to participate perfectly. You can observe quietly if that’s what you have capacity for. Quick schedule note: Coffee Break will shift later today. I’m with my mom this morning for a staple removal appointment, so we’ll regroup this afternoon instead. Coffee Break will be at 5:00 pm. Same format. Short. Practical. Come if it fits, skip if it doesn’t. If nothing else today, let midday be a pause — not a push. #MomJungle #MiddayPause #SubtractForSanity #MentalLoad #OperatorMom #QuietMomentum

@Jessica Z snoopy, little thing. I wonder what repels those? I hope he doesn't come back.

@Jessica Z He's my favorite looney toon! I didn't know that. Cool!

Subtract Emotional Re-Processing
Today’s rule:Feelings are information — not grounds for renegotiation. After a decision is made, emotions often arrive late and try to reopen it. That’s not intuition. That’s emotional re-litigation. Today’s practice:When emotion appears after a decision, quietly say: Noted. This does not reopen the decision. No fixing the feeling. No explaining it. No re-arguing the choice. Optional: Use the Emotional Closure Sheet if it helps you notice and decline renegotiation. You are not suppressing emotion. You are removing its authority.

🍃 Living List — A.M.
Tuesday, January 6 Today is about follow-through, not force. Write what keeps momentum going — one task that finishes something, one that supports tomorrow. Then stop adding. Simple list. Steady hands. #MomJungle #LivingList #TuesdayRhythm #GentleMomentum #OperatorMom #MentalLoad #IntentionalLiving
