🌿 Afternoon Jungle Thought

One of my favorite things about one-on-one time with my kids is how it lets them see me in a different light. Not just “mom with a to-do list,” but a person they can laugh with, hang out with, and one day—be friends with.

I think of it like a cord we’re weaving across the years. Every coffee date, errand run, or quiet walk together adds another strand. And when they leave home, that cord is strong enough to hold us close.
