Nimiq Pay upgrade
We’re all busy coming up with and building Mini Apps that will be part of Nimiq Pay. But to be completely honest, in my opinion the Nimiq Pay app itself could use some much-needed improvements. As the “parent app,” it really needs to be up to par. Am I the only one who feels this way, or are there others?
Below are a few issues I’ve run into that I think could use an upgrade.
1. To transfer NIM, you always have to enter an amount in $ or €. My suggestion is to also allow entering an amount in NIM.
2. Information and functionality are missing for incoming payments:
- You can’t see who sent it
- The address can’t be used to send a return payment
- The address can’t be added to the address book
- The transaction description isn’t displayed.
If John and Mary both sent me an amount and I receive one payment, I can’t tell who made the transfer...
3. The address book seems to be automatically populated with addresses, but their origin is unclear, which leads to errors.
Perhaps there are other ideas?
