Midmar mile open water swim

In South Africa every year the midmar mile is swum, the biggest open water swim in the world, Kiersten had never done it and did it for the first time today, wow, I wasnt there as she did it with her school but she was amazing, big waves due to the wind, however she did 1mile or 1.6km in 23.48 minutes, she even surprised herself, her goal was a sub 25 and she did it....so here is to swimming midmar mile every year from now on,

now we concentrate on open water nationals start of March and SANJ end of March,
