Hey guys!
I had Club Champs this past weekend and swam 4 races and 2 relays. I hit a few PBs and felt really good in the water. I decided to mix things up with some unusual races, which I think might have helped my anxiety a bit. Iβve also been doing my visualisation, and I can really feel it paying off, especially in my training.
Results:
- 100m Back: 1:14.37 (1s PB)
- 200m Free: 1:28.9 (Added some time here; wasn't too happy with this one)
- 200m Medley: 2:43.21 (6s PB)
- 50m Breaststroke: 37.3 (3.5s PB and a Regional Qualifier, and I got the time by 1 second. Totally unexpected and probably my best swim of the meet.)
After this weekend, I now have 5 'A' qualifying times and 3 'B' times for Regionals.
For the relays, I swam the 50m Free and clocked a 28.61. Even though itβs a relay, itβs my first time dropping under 29 seconds in a year (my official PB is 28.91), so Iβm really pleased with that.
Now it's back to training for the next one. I hope all your competitions are going well!
