This week we’re doing something different ☕
Good morning ladies 💛 I was looking through the Classroom this weekend and noticed that only a few of us have opened the Life Audit. And honestly, I get it. Life gets busy, and doing something like this on your own is easy to put off. So this week, we’re doing it together. All of us, one small step a day. When we do identity work, it’s so important to get honest about where we are right now before we decide where we want to go. You can’t set your North Star if you don’t know where you’re standing. That’s exactly what the Life Audit helps you do. It looks at 8 areas of your life: your career, finances, health, friends and family, your partner, personal growth, fun, and your home and surroundings. It’s not about judging yourself, it’s about seeing clearly where you are, so you can start getting clear on where you want to go next. 🌟Here’s how our week will look: 📅 Today: Welcome and Before You Start 📅 Tuesday: Part 1, rate your 8 areas 📅 Wednesday: Part 2, draw your wheel 📅 Thursday: Part 3, reflect on what you see 📅 Friday: Part 4, plan your small steps forward Each step takes about 10 to 15 minutes. I’ll post every morning with that day’s video and a link to the lesson, so all you have to do is show up. Your answers stay private. I’ll never ask you to share your scores here. This is just for you. For today, watch the two short videos above and find yourself a quiet spot for tomorrow. A cup of coffee and a notebook is all you need. 👉 Your lesson is here: YOUR LIFE AUDIT Today is all about prep and getting ready for tomorrow.✅ 💬 If you’re joining me this week, comment I AM IN below so I know who’s walking this with me. ☕ To your next chapter Lindi☕

Why is it so hard to slow down? ☕
Have you ever noticed how hard it is to just sit down and do nothing? I think of it like a backpack. Over the years we keep adding to it. The school runs, the meals, work, our parents, our partner, remembering everyone's birthdays. And then the heavier things too. Losing a parent, a marriage ending, illness, trauma, the hard seasons we just had to get through. Some of it was ours to carry, and a lot of it wasn't. Some of it we never got the chance to put down. Our body gets used to all that weight. It starts to believe that being busy keeps everything safe. So even when life gets a bit quieter, we sit down with a cup of tea and a few minutes later we're up again, doing something. The truth is, we can't control everything. But there are things we can control, like our breath, our next step, what we say yes and no to, and the way we talk to ourselves. Think of someone who led you well. Maybe a teacher, a boss, your gran or a good friend. When things got messy, she didn't have all the answers. She just said something like "we'll figure it out, one step at a time", and everyone calmed down a bit. We can do that for ourselves too. This week's worksheet, Why Is It So Hard to Slow Down?, helps you unpack your backpack and keep only what's yours. There are four steps: notice your first sign of stress, sort what's in your hands and what isn't, choose a kinder story to tell yourself, and a one minute reset for when you feel yourself rushing. It's below for you to download 📄 Vote in the poll below 👇 and then share in the comments: when you try to rest, what's the one thing that usually gets you up off the couch? Have a look at someone else's answer too and reply to her. Chances are you'll recognise yourself. 💛

You Can Love Your Life And Still Be Curious About Who You're Becoming 🚪
You can adore your life exactly as it is and still feel a little pull toward what's next. Both are true at the same time, and sometimes that pull shows up as a quiet question, who am I beyond all of this? 🚪 I love that question, because it means a new season is opening for you. For years we put so much of ourselves into looking after people and getting things done, and we got so good at it that who we are and what we do became one thing. Now the roles are changing, the kids grow up, work shifts, parents need us in new ways, and that leaves space for something fresh. You get to decide what goes in it. Think about the map on your phone. It never shows you the whole road before you leave. You pick a direction, you start driving, and the next turn appears as you go. Our lives work the same way, but so many of us sit in the driveway waiting for the full route, waiting to feel sure, waiting for a sign or for someone to say go ahead. The door was never locked, you just haven't turned the door handle yet. 🌿 Belief is a strategy. Act as if things will work out, and your actions will start to prove it. Keep the first step small, so small that your body stays calm and happy while you do it. Every step you take becomes proof, and the worksheet has a space to catch it. 📄 Your worksheet, Who Am I Beyond My Roles?, is attached below. It takes about ten minutes and ends with one little step you can take today, plus a space to write down what happens this week. 👇 Tell me in the comments, what's one small step you could take this week? 📊 Which door handle are you ready to turn first?

Catch It In Yellow 🌿
Most of us only notice what our body's doing once we're already in the red, snapping at everyone, or frozen on the couch with the phone in our hand and no idea how long we've been there. But there's a stage before that, and it's the one where you've got the most room to do something about it. Here's one way of looking at it. Your body has its own traffic light, and it switches between three colours all day long. 🟢 Green is when you feel safe enough to just be yourself, think of sitting round a fire with people you love, chatting and laughing and breathing easily. 🟡 Yellow is your body getting ready to deal with something, heart going a bit faster, shoulders up round your ears, a mind that won't switch off, snappy, restless, wired. That's your fight or flight, and feeling anxious or overwhelmed lives here too. 🔴 Red is when it all gets too much and your body shuts down to protect you, you go quiet, foggy, numb, heavy, like you've left the room while you're still standing in it. None of these colours are bad, they're all your body trying to look after you. The reason I want you to focus on yellow is that it's so much easier to come back from yellow than red, and most of us have a little sign we've been ignoring for years. We'll look at yours together on Wednesday. This matters because you can't change what you can't see. A lot of us have been running on yellow for years and just thought that was normal, so when you start noticing it, you find out you've got more choice than you thought. And it gives us a good starting point for everything we'll work on together later. 📄🌿 I made you a three page worksheet called My Traffic Light Map. It helps you work out what each colour feels like in your own body, and there's a 7 day tracker so you can practise catching yourself in yellow this week. If thinking about red feels heavy, leave that box blank and stay with green and yellow, that's plenty. 👇🌿 Let's start with the easy one. Where do you feel most green? Tell me the place, or the people, or the moment, I want to hear about your campfire.

You Quieted The Voice. Now What Do You Actually Want To Hear?👂
Two weeks ago, we drew out the gremlin. That voice that isn't actually you, just a habit your brain built a long time ago to keep you safe. Here's what nobody tells you comes next. Once that voice gets a little quieter, there's a gap. And most of us rush to fill it with what we think we should want. There's a better question first. Not what should I want. What actually matters to me. That's your values. Not a goal, not a task list, your compass. The thing that tells you which direction is yours before you decide what to do about it. Most of us are living by values we never chose. We inherited them, from a mother, a marriage, a job title, a culture that told us what a good woman prioritizes. This week we get yours back. 📝Grab the Values Compass worksheet below. Fifteen honest minutes. Circle what actually matters to you right now, not what you think should. 💖Be honest, where are you with your values right now?
