Social Circle Venues in Sydney's South-West?
Hi all you folks in the Sydney area. I'm trying to find potential social circle venues in or near my place in Campbelltown (South-West) that are cheap and also bouge-y (fancy, expensive-looking), somewhere I can meet friends, have the odd party and maybe even take a date.
While, as Meat Loaf sang, two outta three ain't bad, so far, any decent venues I've found are all clustered around the CBD / Oxford Street / Kings Cross area. While I'm otherwise happy to get to them on the train, they're definitely not nearby, and the one cheap place I found just closed for the next month.
I'm wondering whether there's anywhere closer to the South-West that fits the bill.
Campbelltown itself doesn't have much (I doubt the RSL counts and The Campbell is nice but not exactly bouge-y). Best I've been able to find so far is Oran Park, and given that I'm limited to public transport, the Sydney CBD is about as far away.
