Greetings To All
I’m Mark. I was an Asst. Engineer from the Mid to late 90’s in NYC. I worked at Studios that are now closed. Which are Unique Recording Studios & The Legendary Hit Factory. So Music is My Life long passion. I’ve Assisted a lot of Great Engineers. I literally grew up in the genre of Hip Hop. I remember when it said Hip Hop won’t last. Now look fast forward 50+ Years later look at where Hip Hop is at today. So Now I’m ready to dig back deep into like I once was. I’m from the Analog era. Now I’m ready to take on this digital age by horns & Jump In Box & Get Busy! I’m ready! So let’s Make It Happen!😉

If we develop a love for making beats, and someone encourages us to put those on our website say, where is the best place or way to start? Thanks.
Vocal Stems Link for the Produce-A-Thon contest
Hi! Does anyone have the link to the vocal stems for the contest? I registered for the Produce-A-Thon that is on this week however wasn’t able to attend Day 1 live. I watched the replay and @Caleb Loveless mentions he put the link for the vocal track(s) in Chat and that it would be sent out in the email after. I was unable to see the chat in the replay I watched, though, and while I got the registration confirmation email and count down to the event emails, I didn’t get an email with the link to the stems (or replay) yet. (I check my spam folder and not there either. 😉) I knew that the replay to the event would be available in the “Event Replays” tab in the Classroom tab here, so I could see that. However, no link to the stems there either, as has been in other past such events. Any help would be appreciated! Thanks!
Starting My New Journey: 2 Plugins Per Week | 8 Plugins Per Month | 96 Plugins Per Year
I finally did an inventory of all the plugins I own… and the number is around 300 🤯 But they are useless if I don’t truly know them. So I’m starting a long-term journey of studying and testing each plugin, beginning with the most important ones. My plan: - 2 plugins per week - 3 days study per plugin - at least 1 hour each day - Sunday review of both plugins That means 8 plugins per month and so 96 plugins per year. I’m committing to some understanding how each plugins shapes tone, dynamics, color, and workflow. It’s going to take time and patience. But honestly… there’s no other way. Is there? Gotta do it!
