Hey all! I'm new here! :-) I'm Christian, I live in Holland and I love spray painting! I'm actually a pilot by profession (Helichris on YouTube ;-)), but I've been painting as a hobby for over 20 years. Mostly cars (my own, mainly) and aviation parts. I've built my own spray booth at home and recently upgraded my compressor setup with a second-hand rotary screw compressor and refrigerated air dryer (I was lucky enough to buy them from a shop that was closing down). WHAT a difference in air quality!! Absolutely amazing, and probably a bit overkill for a home setup. :-) But hey, why not! I came across Make It Match on YouTube and have already learned so much! I still make mistakes and occasionally ruin little things... but I've already picked up loads of great tips from this community! I love what you've built here Aaron!! and I'm looking forward to learning as much as I can! Here my home setup.

Fiat 249 color

Does anybody have any thoughts on a compressor that will run a DV1 base coat and DV1 clear coat guns? I just purchased both of them, and my compressor won’t handle them, so I was maybe wondering if somebody had some suggestions thanks for your time

This is the trim to my E30. Id like to paint it gloss black. The material is aluminum. Do I just use my regular sealer for the base I plan to use or is there something else I need to consider like a flex additive since the part will need to bend a little and be massaged into place?
