@Esa Harvela I epoxy them first then base, and clear with no problems.They last just use a good clear on them.

😂 I had way too much fun making this one
I just uploaded a video covering 5 masking techniques I wish I knew 20 years ago when I first started painting. None of these are crazy tricks. They're just simple things I do on almost every paint job that save time, make blending easier, and help avoid those "well... that was dumb" moments. 😅 If you're doing spot repairs or just want cleaner results without making more work for yourself, I think it might be helpful

Color sanding base?
I've seen guides online saying to wet sand basecoat at 600. Two coats, wet sand, final coat. Is this legit advice? The premise is that clear lays flatter..

I've never heard of this, but usually you just spray your base as smooth as you can then nib it out then spray more base in that area. Then proceed to clear. Your color sanding your clear, and I go 1500, 2000, then 3000. Works great for me. On black I have sanded black before the last coat with 1200 just to get a cleaner job, you still have to put more base on before clear. Hope this helps.

@Aaron Jokela I'm sure it will. Just joined premium. Im looking forward too learning from you. I've been painting for awhile now, but sure would be nice learning from a pro like you that trouble shoots problems
