Instead, I said lets look at the smaller towns west and southwest of Miami. Let's look at focusing on small strip centers, 10 stores or less. I told him about the Strip Mall Guy. He's another worth following on Linked In or Twitter.

The Strip Mall Guy started in a small area focused on small tenants in strip malls. He got to know the properties. He got to know the tenants. What made their business succeed. Where could they operate more profitably.

He learned his market. I mean "His" market. Not someone elses market. A market he owned that was unique to him.
