🔥 The $10K+ Journey That Started Right Here in This Community
Believe it or not, this community is the reason I scaled to almost $5K+/month and crossed $10K+ on Upwork. Endless duas for @Haroon Khalil bhai and all the brothers who were part of this journey with me. The fun part is it took me only 3 months to go from $2K-$10K on upwork. Looking back now, it’s crazy how far you can go when you simply trust Allah, listen to your mentors, keep teaching and learning and simply execute with good niyat. ⚙️ Work Pattern 10 working days out of 15 4 workdays --- 1 reset day 3 days went into recovery (eye + neck issues) 🤦🏼♀️ External Rewards (will work on removing) Cold drinks + pastries Then I wanted more refreshing resets, so I placed a small ice-cold tub in another room to dip my feet. lol There’s also an AC in office room, but I don’t know where the remote is. I was thinking of finding it. I felt that AC would normalize the temperature, and now switching from normal temperature to the ice-cold tub feels really really good. I’ll see Ac later when I understand its value.lol 💥 3-Day Recovery Phase Long screen hours without protection (blue light glasses) --- eye irritation Woke up with a stiff neck. I don’t know how I slept, but I pulled a neck muscle. I decided to stay in bed, and on other days I did some household work. ⚠️ Struggles As soon as it’s Maghrib, my eyes start to close, and if I sleep late, it becomes hard to wake up for Fajr. 🛠 Worked On Edits 150 articles posted (just bcz to gather analytics by the end of the month) 🌟 Signs It’s a Growth Season Lately, when I sleep, I dream about editing timelines. When I’m awake, I constantly think about specific Adobe After Effects tutorials to grasp. I consistently crave to work, and sitting feels uncomfortable. Also decided to daily journal from now on. 🎯 Decisions + Outreach I’ve decided not to do outreach for now and continue working at the agency while improving my animations and edits. I’m preparing for better opportunities through job listings of editors, e.g saif ... from the courses I took. I’ve also decided to remain focused on editing. I don’t want to leave this path and risk losing what I’ve learned or letting my effort go to waste. 📌 Takeaways Many low-ticket clients ❌ Improving animation = better opportunities = stronger personal brand edits = long-term benefit 🚀 Goals for This Season Upgrade to an ideal editing setup (current setup is good, but can be improved) Invest in a few high-value courses
