Just wanted to share a small success experience regarding importance of taking ownership while at professional job or doing personal work. We usually have morning meetings at job on daily basis where we discuss agenda of the past day achievement vs planned, the problems we faced, brainstorming solutions, root causes scenarios and the improvement strategies to avoid the failures in future. It was the moment when one of my colleague highlighted that the past day achievement was a record in the month and all of a sudden other colleagues started to applaud for you that i really didn't expect. Obviously that was a collective effort, but the moment was very memorable for me because i took the ownership of the project and lead the team efficiently without actually knowing the outcome. Most of us will relate these type of events where a small work can be beneficial for us if it is done with full ownership and that is exactly the lessons teaches us in this forum.

Believe it or not, this community is the reason I scaled to almost $5K+/month and crossed $10K+ on Upwork. Assalamualaikum everyone ♥️ After a long time, I’m finally posting here again. I haven’t been very active in the community lately, but today I really felt like sharing a my 3 months journey of video editing. Around 3 months ago, I made a decision to fully focus on learning a skill. I chose video editing as my niche. I had a little background in designing, so I thought it might help somehow, but honestly, I didn’t know anything about video editing back then. Now, when I look at myself after these 3 months, I can confidently say that Alhamdulillah, I’m able to create simple talking-head style videos and edits with B-rolls. It may seem small, but for me, it’s a big step forward. I’m soooo grateful, first of all, to Allah ♥️ for guiding me and giving me the strength to stay consistent. And secondly, to @Raima Zainab , who is putting so much effort into all of us girls, investing her time, energy, and knowledge selflessly. She’s not just a mentor, but truly feels like a supportive sister who always guiding, encouraging, and believing in us even when we doubt ourselves. May Allah bless her with more success, barakah in her time, and reward her for every effort she puts into us. And of course, thanks to @Haroon Khalil , for building such an amazing community where we get to learn, grow, and support each other.
