🗣️Throwback PIRFsday Class №12 💬 February 26
Hello everyone! 🙌 How about we dig into this assignment in our next Throwback PIRFsday? This video is from July 2025. So, February 26 — our weekly class: Throwback PIRFsday, every Thursday ⏰ 👉 Calendar Link Here’s what we’ll do: Go through one of the “old” PIRF assignments and… Do VF (Vowel Foul) 😜 Practice pronunciation 🗣️ Read the whole assignment 📝 My assistant Super Mariel @Mariel Liang will, as always, be watching out for me and lending a hand. 🤝 PRACTICING TOGETHER, IMPROVING BIG TIME! 💪 "PIRF 440 is small…but mighty! You’re talking about a mandarin (a small orange!)— but really, you’re talking about joy. Simple, everyday joy. No big speech, no deep meaning—just genuine happiness from something tiny and sweet. Keep your tone light, warm, maybe even a little silly. Make us feel that little burst of sunshine. Don’t forget the Vowel Foul!" Your English coach, Coach @Shane Peterson

Stay focused. Stick to the basics. Have fun. Stay stress-free.
This is a reminder for myself. It’s from the latest ANSWER video of DDM 1028. Coach Shane shared a lot, and it’s very important for me—especially for the newbies here. Don’t stress out. If you feel hungry and eager for English, that’s great. But at the very beginning, please just focus on simple patterns and the basics. These are Coach Shane’s words. If you’re available, please check the video; if not, this content is enough. "Focus on the simple patterns. A lot of people think they need to expand their vocabulary and learn more idioms. But what you really need is to master simple patterns. For example: You’re better at A than B. You know this simple pattern, but why did you make mistakes? So, if you made mistakes here, stop clouding your mind with external stuff, I’m serious guys, just focused on DDM, That’s all you need. Especially Seinfeld, whether you like it or not, it has everything you need. Look somebody like Serge, came to us with zero knowledge. He did what I told him to do. Now he listens to many podcasts, filling his head with so many stuff, but at the very beginning, he just focused on this. He’s mastered these things, and now he’s expanding. He didn’t do that at the beginning. If you are at the very beginning, don’t do that, just focus on this. Our Skool community has so many things to do, skip it! Don’t stress out. just focus on this. Don’t think " Mariel is doing this, Mina is doing this, Gulistan is doing this… "You don’t need to do anything, just do this. Once this is easy. then you can move on. Watch the video once or twice, then start to do the dictation, maximum each part 10 minutes. 40 minutes max, and then put it away. If you want, you can watch the video again, and then watch the Answer video. Check your answers. Then if you have questions, ask, CS will answer in the Explanation video. And then watch the explanation video... ❤️‍🔥⚠️Do the Repeat After Coach Shane section. It’s super important!!! CS chooses the red sections very intentionally.
