English Camp Assignment 12.14 No.4
Have you changed where you shop because prices went up? No, I haven’t. I can feel that grocery prices have gone up because of the economic downturn, but the store I usually shop at still offers reasonable prices and good quality compared with its competitors. On top of that, they provide free home delivery, which is really convenient for me. So I probably won’t switch to another store unless I find one that’s clearly better.
English Camp Assignment 12.14 No.7
Do you prefer spending money on gifts, food, or experiences? Why? I prefer spending money on food. I’m a midwife, and I work night shifts while also keeping up with my English studies. After work, I often feel completely worn out, so I rely on high-quality food to recharge my body and stay focused on studying. For example, when my eyes feel overworked, I’ll eat foods like salmon and pumpkin, which are good for eye health. And when I manage to finish a particularly challenging task, I like to reward myself with something a bit expensive, such as Musang King durian or New Zealand cherries. These kinds of treats add enjoyment to my life and keep me motivated to move forward.
