What's in it for us except revenge?

Let's be real. The POTUS has made his goals toward Iran very clear in the last month. He wants lower range missiles and to prevent Iran from building a nuclear weapon. Cutting ties with proxies seems like more of a bonus at this point. If he can get that through a deal, he'll make the deal. If not, he'll continue striking until his terms are agreed to. My question is deal or not, how does it benefit the people of Iran either way?

If the deal is made, we're stuck with this regime. If the war resumes, we're still stuck with the regime and war on top of it. Only thing I can think of is the feeling of revenge when some of these IRGC commander are killed befroe being repalced immediately. I just wanna know what the people of Iran who want this rsgime replaced with a secular demcoracy or Monarchy can expect to get out of it either way. This isn't being pessimistic. I just wanna know what's in it for us.
