The PERSIAN gulf
Why does the Trump administration continue to refer to the Persian Gulf as the Arabian Gulf? I still remember Trump's remarks about wanting to change the name, but now I'm seeing Hegseth and Caine talk about the war with a map of Iran behind him the refers to the Persian gulf as the Arabian gulf. This is pretty insulting...is there a good reason for this? What is this administration trying to tell us?
The PERSIAN gulf
@Red Logan So you're basically saying we just need to accept that it's gonna be called that going forward? That because Arabs are "Helping" presumably by bankrolling Trump's personal account, he gets to give away what doesn't belong to him? Iranians can care less what what Arabs want to call it. See? This is what I'm talking about. Trump's constantly gives the middle finger to Iranian people, then Israel tells them to rise. This kind of behavior is deeply suspicious of it's any sign of things to come and along with some of his earlier comments is only gonna make the people more skeptical of the U.S moticatioms and therefore, mire likely to rally around the flag, than rise. When we asked for a humanitarian intervention, we didn't say Iran is Trump's to do what he pleases with. We asked for help to fight back against the regime, but not at the cost of losign our national dignity or Teump redrawing Iran's borders. That wasn't part of the deal. The deal was getting rid of a common foe. This behavior makes Iranians wonder who the real foe is.
@Red Logan It's interesting that you consider it being negative when all I'm doing is stating the president's words and Israel's attack on infalstructure makes the average Iranian feel when taken at face value. At the beginning of this campaign, Trump promised Iranians that they'll get the chance to overthrow the regime, but there's been things said and done since then that make it harder for Iranias to do that. All I'm saying is when the president says something, people take it at face value, so he can't just go around making contradicting statements all the time and say "Don't take me literally", but I need to be quiet according to your logic, because you want this forum to be an echo chamber? We have a common enemy. All I'm doing is saying the president's recent statements aren't helping Iranians prepare to rise against this enemy. Especially his dismissal of Reza Pahlavi and saying he'd rather work with someone inside the regime and giving Israel a no kill list, to leave certain insiders alive. He has the Venezuela model stuck in his and there's no doing away with it it seems, but Iranians haven'tasked for a moderate fro meothin the regime. We have made it clear that we don't want this regime. Also, I'm old enough to remember when he was in Saudi Arabia and said what he intended to do to the gulf, then saying he wants to change Iran's map and personally appoint the next leader and all the while, Israel keeps telling Iranians to get ready to rise up without giving any instructions as to how or providing weapons. We have a common enemy and that gives us a common interest in their fall, but it seems like U.S and Israel have different ideas as to what comes after the fall. They say they prefer a secualr government, but would settle for a failed state and I'm here to say that's where our interests diverge. Iranians want neither a faield state nor a "Moderate insider". Bottom line is if U.S and Israel want the Iranian people to overthrow the government, they should speak and act with that goal in mind.
Trump's comments
In a recent interview, Trump was asked if he thoguht ending the war without regime change is a betrayal of the Iranians he promised to liberate. In response, he said he'd like to liberate them if they behave an that they're been behaving very badly so far. I feel like that's insulting to the people who have given blood to differentiate between the people and the regime. What exactly have the Iranian people done that's considered bad behavior in Trump's book?
@Rebecca Abbott They asked him about the Iranian people. He said if they wanna be liberated, they need to behave...
The Artesh
I heard the air-stirkes from U.S and Israel have been focused on IRGC rather than the Artesh. I believe this is Crucial! Israel has been doing well so far as far as helping to create a grassroots support base for Pahlavi Via social media campaigns, but I believe if they truly want regime change, they have to get him more support from the artesh. Not only because they can help the people agaisnt IRGC, but also to hold the country together after the regime falls. What do you guys think can be done to win over the artesh for Reza Pahlavi? Because as it stands, we see defections from soldiers, but not on a mass scale or commanders. So what more can be done in that regard?
Bombs for Israel?
Did Rubio just go around the congress to give Israel 2 1,000 pound bombs? I heard these are bombs they didn't use in Iraq for fear of Civilian Casualties. Now they're trying to use them in Iran? Can anyone confirm this?

The Artesh
While the IRGC is being rightfully decapitated, the Artesh semes to be left intact. I think this is KEY! Not only to stand with the people against IRGC, but also to keep Iran together after the regime hopefully falls soon. Israel has done very well so far in producing grassroots supoort for Shahzadeh, but I think the Artesh need to be brought into the fold as well. I know there arevideos of defecting soldiers circulating online, but I feel like there hasn't been enough of an effort in that regard. If we can get the artesh to either accept Pahlavi or offer up a secular patriotic commander like Reza Kahn, I think that's major progress and it's beneficial for all sodes involved. What do you guys think?
