YOU HAVE ALREADY GONE TO FAR
Good morning Mr. Dom
As you well know, there is an evil apostatic regime ruling the wonderful people of Iran. Your mission Mr. Dom should you decide to accept it, is to move ahead of the foreign invasion force to soften the enemy positions, possibly even eliminating the threat before foreign forces arrive.
As always Mr. Dom should you or any member of his Majesty’s intelligence force be captured or killed the secretary of intelligence, Armin Navabi will disavow any knowledge of your actions.
Good luck Mr. Dom
Fortunately for you this recording cannot self-destruct you probably really-really like your computer anyway.
I would like to entertain the idea that our organization is equipped in a way that can aid the revolution, we should take advantage albeit in an abstract way to help. All journalists are propagandists. We usually associate propaganda with things like disinformation and deception, mal-information, emotional manipulation, repetition, the illusion of truth, framing- choosing how a story is told, Scapegoating, Manufactured authenticity, etc.-etc.
The most important point to be made is that propaganda works for all sides in conflicts. We think of propaganda as evil, in reality it is a powerful tool for good as well. I always like to say the most powerful propaganda is that which men of truth write.
Men of falsehood inherently write words of falsehood; men of truth inherently write words of truth. Everyone thinks they fool everyone, but they only deceive themselves. Even evil people understand the difference between good and evil; they know what they do is evil.
There are many stories of failed propaganda programs as they lacked cultural awareness in the theatre they were intended for. Frequently targets interpreted the propaganda as humorous laughing at it.
Time is valuable for everyone, let us cut the chase. I like applied sciences. They are easier to learn and many times amusing. Propaganda is largely an applied science of psychology. As such it is usually better to learn by doing than teaching. Many students actually enjoy this method of instruction, and it produces higher grades.
Quotes can help set the stage for a topic; I will present three quick ones. The first is from the legendary Sun Tzu; “The greatest victory is that which requires no battle.”
A quote about that quote, not mine.???
“The highest form of strategy is to win through foresight, positioning, diplomacy, and psychological advantage—so decisively that conflict becomes unnecessary.”
This quote is valuable to a propogandist as it emphasizes the need to establish a psychological advantage. The resistance is futile; if you want a future, it is with us now, idea.
It is always good to read a little of what an adversary writes not only to learn about him but from him. The next example comes from one of the notorious past rulers, Adolph Hitler.
People believe he once said, “The bigger the lie, the more people will believe it.” But he actually did not say that someone else interpreted his writing and said it that way.
(AI):
In Mein Kampf, he accuses his political enemies of using a “big lie” — a falsehood so enormous that ordinary people would assume no one could have the audacity to invent it. He frames it as a tactic used against him, not one he is teaching others to use.
A high‑level summary of his actual point:
• Ordinary people tell small lies, not huge ones.
• Because of that, they struggle to imagine someone inventing a lie so colossal.
• Therefore, a “big lie” can be effective because people assume no one would dare fabricate something so extreme.
(End AI):
This reasoning can be applied to other circumstances, in ways other than my enemies are out to get me. This material has intrinsic meaning to the propagandist. I will fully illustrate what I think that means shortly.
As the Adolph Hitlers go; The world has never seen the bottom of the pit think, of Uday, Ghaddafi, Saddam, Khamenei, Al-Baghdadi, one thing I am pretty sure about when we hit the bottom of the pit, we will know as his name will be Dajjal. When he gets here the pit is not bottomless anymore it is over.
(bummer of a choice for a discussion board name there, Hal, sorry)
I am going to end the quote phase of this writing with one which a propagandist should take note of. It was from Napolean; he was neither good nor evil he was transformative.
“Never interrupt your enemy when he is making a mistake.”
Let us begin with an operational demonstration.
