HISTORY:
Home to one of the oldest continuous main civilizations, most of Iran was first united as a nation by the Iranian Sintashta civilization during the semi-factual and semi-mythic Keyānid Dynasty c. 2200 BC whose legacy traces have stayed intact and prevalent in the Native Iranian Folklore today which is mentioned in the Iranian National Epic Book of Lords known as "the Shāhnāmeh", this is all prior to the Iranians (i.e. Aryans) whom are an Indo-European people had migrated into the Iranian Plateau which was initially inhabited by the indeginous Elamite Civilization that eventually was taken over and dominated by the new arriving Iranians (i.e. Aryans) who were Mithraic worshippers of the Sun (This is prior to becoming Zoroastrians later in time) then the Iranian civilization split into two subset states with the Median Territory in the North and the Persian Territory in the South
Iran later re-unified and reached it's territorial height in the 6th century BC, when Cyrus the Great founded the Achaemenid Dynasty and established the famous Iranian Empire. Then Alexander of Macedonia conquered the Iranian Empire in the 4th century BC. An Iranian rebellion led by the Arsacid Dynasty in the 3rd century BC established another Iranian Empire, which later liberated the country. In the 3rd century AD the Arsacids were succeeded by the Sassanid Dynasty of Iran that became a new Iranian Empire, which oversaw a golden age in the history of the Iranian civilization. During this period Classic Ancient Iran saw some of the earliest developments in writing, agriculture, urbanization, religion and administration.
Once the center of Zoroastrianism, Iran unfortunately underwent Islamization following the 7th century AD Arab Islamic Conquest. Innovations in literature, philosophy, mathematics, astronomy and art that were all remnants of the previous Zoroastrian period heritage of Iran were renewed during the Arab Islamic Caliphate occupations over Iran and the Iranian Intermezzo, a period during which semi-independent Iranian Dynasties ended Arab rule and at the same time preserved, revived and maintained the native language of the Iranians preventing the country from being Arabized. This era was followed by Turkic Seljuk and Khwarazmian rule, Mongolian Conquests by Chengiz Khan and the Timurid rule from the 11th to 14th century AD.
In the 16th century the native Saffavid Dynasty re-established and unified the Iranian Empire with full National independence from 800 years of Sunni Islamic Occupation this was done by using Shia Islam as a political tool and as the new official religion to separate Iran from the rest of the Islamic World, laying the framework for the Afsharid Dynasty of Iran in the 18th century to make Iran a leading world power under the Afsharid and Zandid Dynasties, but it lost this status after the incompetent Qajar Dynasty took over the country in the 1790s. The early 20th century saw the unprecedented Asian phenomenon of the Iranian Constitutional Revolution of 1906 and the rise of the Classic Liberal Pahlavi Dynasty by Shāh Reza Pahlavi the Great who founded Modern Iran and brought a new Iranian golden age with it

CULTURE
The native Iranian culture is an Indo-European culture this explains why Iranians are very similar to their fellow Indo-Europeans and cultural cousins i.e. the Germans, Scandinavians, Polish, Russians, Spanish, Greeks, Italians and etc. it also explains why Iranians have no problems assimilating into the USA, Europe, Canada, Australia and New Zealand this is because the Iranians have no need to change themselves that much in order to fit in because it's very straightforward for them
The native name of the country "Iran" or in it's ancient forms "Aryana" and "Aryanaem" was first mentioned in Avesta the Zoroastrian holy book which literally translates into "Land of the Aryans" this is because "the Aryan identity" is the ethno-cultural identity of the Iranians in the same way the "Jewish identity" is the ethno-religious identity of the Jews whom are the historical allies of the Iranians since the time Cyrus the Great of Iran (Aryana) liberated the Jews from Babylonian captivity. It must be stated that Hitler and the Nazis hijacked the term "Aryan" for their Evil Ideology and Agenda thus it has absolutely no connection to the true Aryan cultural identity of the Iranian people
