Besides making art, 1/2 of my life mission is to build a community that values and cultivates beauty. This is the Bangkok community I have now. Yesterday we went painting outdoors instead of the studio (image #3). Do you have a community around you? It doesn't even have to be artists. Do you have supportive people that share your values and goals and dreams? It does help a lot. In my student days I did this. I constantly spent time around peers and other hungry, ambitious art students. I still do this even outside of art. I seek out other men who have the same values as me and whom I can learn from. What is your community like? If you have meetups or pictures please share here.
