@Stefan Hammarroth I really love the looseness and color in the portrait of the man! 😀

@Darin Huddy Hi Darin, your work space looks nice and organized. It feels like a pleasant space to work in. 😊💪
Charcoal Experiment #018, Behind the Scenes and Photography
Just finished this morning. Took a few days and few tries. I didn't get to photo the first 'destructive' pass with the brush, since I did this at night. Everything I used is in the photo. Except for more brushes. I have a good flow with charcoal powder and brushes now. The photo I staged and shot. Lots of post in Photoshop unfortunately, I wasn't well prepared for the shoot but I got some good shots. What did you guys make over the weekend?

I love the extra flair you did with her feet and hand. This totally completes the story for me.
Master Copy La Femme
The main thing I learned from this master copy is how to work with values in a high key. I don't think I quite got the nuance and subtle value transitions, and my copy is a value darker from the original overall. My drawing feels a little more punchy than the original. I had a lot of fun with this copy. This is an absolutely exquisite painting and I'm surprised it's not more famous. Mars Lumograph 2B, 8B, White Stabilo CarbOthello, charcoal on Strathmore toned grey paper

Final Homework from Chris' Advanced Figure Drawing course
I worked really hard throughout this course and had a lot of fun. It really helped me to appreciate the beauty of the human figure.

@Stefan Hammarroth It's a really good course! I hope you will have fun going through it too!
Phaesant Skeleton
My wife got me a a phaesant seleton as a Christmas gift. It's an old display once used in a school. She got it because she knows I love to draw seletons so that's what I did, and will do many more times 😀

Wow amazing! I love the three layers of the different variations of the same bird. Very good draughtsmanship as well. 😊
