The Subtle but Powerful Mobile Tweak That Rocket Mortgage Got Right”
I always tell people to make sure their quiz or funnel is positioned as high up on the page as possible. especially on mobile.
Today, while analyzing Rocket Mortgage’s VA Loan funnel, I noticed they’re doing exactly that.
📸 Two screenshots attached:
  1. Desktop view: Image of a person on the left, quiz funnel on the right.
  1. Mobile view: They flip the layout so the lead funnel comes first and the person image moves below.
By default, on mobile most browsers would stack these the other way around ... image first, funnel second. But Rocket made sure the funnel stays at the top of the viewport on mobile. Smart move.
What’s even more interesting is how simple their pages are. Many don’t even include images. This is a billion-dollar company, yet they don’t overthink the design. It’s all about clarity and conversion.
