Q: Reply Rate Definition ?

Hey Everyone,

I see two definitions for the reply rate.

First, is:

Number of unique replies / number of emails delivered * 100 = percentage reply rate.

For example, if you send out 500 cold emails and receive back 50 replies, your reply rate would be 10%.

and second is,

Number of unique replies / number of recipients * 100 = percentage reply rate.

For example, if you send out to 100 leads and receive back 50 replies, your reply rate would be 50%.

Instantly shows it as the second one,

But what is more appropriate in your opinion.
