What’s for dinner?
Today is a holiday, Labor Day, here in France and we take that seriously… To me, it seems to celebrate the art of the protest/strike, most of all. Both, are fundamentally French and a big part of our culture. Everything is closed and there is no public transport running today. It may be the most closed day in France… What are we eating today? Well, for some reason I thought it was to be rainy and gloomy- but it’s a bright and clear 23° out there with nary a cloud in the sky. My daughter has been craving chili… so this was planned ahead, but there will be chili. Classic style… beef, sharp cheddar, and some chives waiting. And the closest thing we have to Saltine crackers in France. 🇫🇷 Pics will be coming!
What are you cooking for dinner tonight?
