Hi all, Today we had the daylight change in spain.. this means that the coffee hour tomorrow will be at 9 AM in Texas.. Coffee hours are to meet each other, share something you like or ask questions. My name is Dafni and I am born in the Netherlands, being Half Dutch, half Greek I have a passion for cooking, specially Greek food. I love dogs, and have adopted a dog in Spain. He is an English Pointer Mix and his name is Tobi. 2 years old now and loving the Barcelona city life. I am looking forward to meet you all into the coffee hours.

Join a mini session of 15 mins on Gut Health tomorrow during coffee hour
During coffee hours on Monday some of us are joining from the park in nature which is really nice to see. Last weekend I was on a trip in the Spanish country side, out of the city for a moment. It made me think of our coffee morning sessions and how nice it is to be outside in nature in the morning. During the trip I made Sunrise walks into the mountain just behind the house where the smell of Rosemary and Thyme is awakening my senses and with that also the digestive system. it created a nice warm feeling when I came back, with my hunger for breakfast I could enjoy a nice warm cup of coffee or tea even more. All my senses felt connected. My eyes where relaxed, and with this also my mind, my ears heard singing birds instead of the noisy city, my smell was so satisfied with all the Rosemary, The feeling of exercise while keeping a focus on all the stones made sure my thoughts where calm. Tomorrow I will do a little learning session on gut health during the first 15 minutes of the coffee hour. One thing today---progress
Week 3: My Mind The hard knocks of my life have taught me to focus on making progress instead of "when I get there". The process of progress is taking a tiny thought, hint, hunch, sign, message-- A DECISION--and adding a new action. Eventually, the action becomes familiar. Dafni's question asks me to decide on "one thing." So first, I must use my mind and DECIDE on ONE thing for my health. And then, I can turn my energy into the "action". Wash and repeat the mantra: Move first. Think later! #FakeItUntilYouMakeIt. #OneDayAtATime. #EasyDoesIt. #ProgressNotPerfection. #BabySteps. My ONE thing today for greater health tomorrow::: The first thing that popped into my mind when I read the question was, "I want to go to bed by 10 pm". Just that one thing. In bed by 10. I shifted from needing to have a "regular" sleep cycle or a "perfect" nighttime routine. To one thing -in bed by 10 ish pm (or earlier :)). Just do it. One day at a time. 😀
