Most TOTAL POINTS in a MONTH!
Big shout out to all who participated with posts, comments, LIKES and shares in our KICKING SKOOL! As you can see from the Leaderboard, we had over 110 points earned throughout the month! Most of any month since K-SKOOL started. Give yourselves a hand 🖐️! Instead of awarding an individual prize to @Ellis Wangelin our top point getter, (Ellis already has more than his fair share of Kickerscamp swag 🤪) ...I'm awarding a prize to the entire community... A CUSTOM 2026 NFL KICKERS POSTER (see attached). If you want a higher res file to print out, just DM me and I can send it to you. I took a little time, consulted ESPN and put together the first of it's kind, the entire NFL kicking line-up for all 32 teams. You'll see a face matched with their age, years experience, height and weight. This is as of today, but given the off season, you can bet there will be some different faces come this Fall! Lots of guys ask me, what's the average size of an NFL kicker. I usually say, "It's me... or it least it was me 40 years ago!" 🤣 AVERAGES: An average NFL kicker is typically about 6'1" tall, weighs 200 lbs, and at his best in his late from 25 to 30. For most college kickers, they'll never actually play in an NFL regular season game, but for those incredible few that make the roster, the average NFL career is just 3.3 years. ROOKIES: Lenny Krieg (NYJ) and Ryan Fitzgerald (CAR) are slated to start in 2026. LONGEST CAREER: Nick Folk (ATL) is still kicking 19 years in the league! YOUNGEST: Cam Little (JAC) is just 22 years old. OLDEST: Nick Folk (ATL) is 41. TALLEST: Harrison Butker (KC) & Charlie Smyth (NO) are 6'4 HEAVIEST: Matt Gay (NV) is 232 lbs. SHORTEST: Cairo Santos (CHI) is only 5/8. LIGHTEST: Jake Elliott (PHI) is just 167 lbs. One of the toughest professions on the planet... there are only 32 jobs in the world as an NFL kicker. I know, I was Mr. 39. 😭
