Most TOTAL POINTS in a MONTH!
Big shout out to all who participated with posts, comments, LIKES and shares in our KICKING SKOOL! As you can see from the Leaderboard, we had over 110 points earned throughout the month! Most of any month since K-SKOOL started. Give yourselves a hand 🖐️! Instead of awarding an individual prize to @Ellis Wangelin our top point getter, (Ellis already has more than his fair share of Kickerscamp swag 🤪) ...I'm awarding a prize to the entire community... A CUSTOM 2026 NFL KICKERS POSTER (see attached). If you want a higher res file to print out, just DM me and I can send it to you. I took a little time, consulted ESPN and put together the first of it's kind, the entire NFL kicking line-up for all 32 teams. You'll see a face matched with their age, years experience, height and weight. This is as of today, but given the off season, you can bet there will be some different faces come this Fall! Lots of guys ask me, what's the average size of an NFL kicker. I usually say, "It's me... or it least it was me 40 years ago!" 🤣 AVERAGES: An average NFL kicker is typically about 6'1" tall, weighs 200 lbs, and at his best in his late from 25 to 30. For most college kickers, they'll never actually play in an NFL regular season game, but for those incredible few that make the roster, the average NFL career is just 3.3 years. ROOKIES: Lenny Krieg (NYJ) and Ryan Fitzgerald (CAR) are slated to start in 2026. LONGEST CAREER: Nick Folk (ATL) is still kicking 19 years in the league! YOUNGEST: Cam Little (JAC) is just 22 years old. OLDEST: Nick Folk (ATL) is 41. TALLEST: Harrison Butker (KC) & Charlie Smyth (NO) are 6'4 HEAVIEST: Matt Gay (NV) is 232 lbs. SHORTEST: Cairo Santos (CHI) is only 5/8. LIGHTEST: Jake Elliott (PHI) is just 167 lbs. One of the toughest professions on the planet... there are only 32 jobs in the world as an NFL kicker. I know, I was Mr. 39. 😭

Sean West - Badger Punter
Sean came to my kicking camp in 2022 and 2023 when he played K & P (and also got playing time at QB and WR) at Homestead High School in Mequon, WI. That's a school of about 1,200 kids with a long tradition of excellence. Sean's a real athlete — played la crosse, too. Sean took lessons from me on his punting and kicking and eventually got a preferred walk-on OFFER from the University of Wisconsin. He spent his first year without an opportunity to play in a game. Just training and getting better while practicing with the team. In his second year, this past Fall, he was the back-up punter to start the season and the #3 kicker. Then, on October 18th (the 7th game of the season), Sean's number was called to be the starting punter against the #1 ranked team in the country, Ohio State — 73,000 fans at Camp Randall. Pressure? You think? 😅 And then, not only does he have a great game punting (despite a thumping loss), he runs a fake punt... not a coach called fake punt — from his end zone — and picks up the first down! Thank goodness! I suspect his punting days might have been taken from him if he didn't make it. 😳 But Sean is a very good athlete and made a tremendous play. • Listen to his post game interview. • Watch his fake punt! • Watch & listen to his 2022 camp evaluation • Watch & listen to his 2023 camp evaluation You may be right where Sean was right now. Are you willing to put in the work that Sean did? Sean's a great guy and will be seeking all three specialist positions this upcoming season (place kicker, kick off specialist & punter)! Think he can do it?

Rookie Aiden Stoffel wins the Gold!
In a surprise turn of events, Jim Gorecki, who finished a top the February Leaderboard graciously stepped off the podium to allow high school Kicking Skool newcomer Aiden Stoffel to claim the victory! 🏆 Aiden proves that by simply getting active in the community and taking the "risk" of uploading some film for evaluation is the perfect way to make new friends and gain some keen insight from some very accomplished K-skool members. What does Aiden win? Our new camp hats just came in, so Aiden will be getting the second one out of the box (because Coach Gorecki was already promised the first from last month's win!) 🤣 _ _ _ Keep telling your friends about K-skool and get them to sign up... let's keep the momentum going!
