Nothing is as unsexy however NECESSARY conversation to have regarding your workouts as your warmup is. Don’t pay enough respect to it, and it’s not a matter of IF, but WHEN you’re gonna get injured. And this only gets MORE TRUE as we age. But I really don’t think you need to spend an insane amount of time on it the way a lot of “movement” guys suggest. In my experience, a simple one that covers activation of main muscle groups, joint mobility drills, and SOMETHING to excite your nervous system (think a set of plyometrics, med ball throws, or even swings) is all you need to avoid injury and prime yourself for solid gains.
