PB: 240 snatches with a 10kg
Nice to shake the cobwebs off and see if I can cut if for the comp next month. 120 left, then 120 right. 1 hand switch though I did it not under comp rules. 😁 About 10 minutes of work, so the pace is decent. However, I'm still not consistent with my technique, and kept trying different things during the session. I keep forgetting the lean back at the start of the drop (or maybe it's my lower back telling me not to be stupid and just to get on with it). I felt weakness mainly at the inner elbow joints and also my grip weakening at the 100 rep mark on both sides, but it was more pronounced on the right side (my weakest side). I wore gloves as I need to train properly hereon and don't want to risk palm damage, but I have to admit that come the day palm sweat + these shiny kb handles + and slippage does cause some concern. I'll see, but I might have to switch to cast iron. The good news is my mind now knows I can do this number of reps, so just got to do it with the next increment up (which for me is the weight I'll test at - 12kg). https://youtu.be/Qu7Z7Z4J3xQ

WLC 24/12/2025
I had 3 goals for the WL Challenge: doing a double KB Snatch with 2x16kg doing 3 pull-ups scale showing 61kg today I managed to do the DKB Snatch with 2x 16kg ✅ and 3 pull-ups in a row (not very nice but ✅). The only thing that didn't work was to lose weight. In fact I gained weight because of - let's say a stress caused binge eating attack. But this is not the end of the story. My journey continues. I'm glad I gained strength with two exercises that are some kind important for me.
Run every day December.
Plan is to run 5km every day in December. Not at my quickest pace but around 5.15/5.30 per km. Day 1 today
Run every day December.
My journal of WLC 2025
I will also keep my reports under this post. The first week was quite easy, because I had a couple mandatory rest days there. I started walking at least around the block. I'm writing my meals down to application. There's plenty of work even a regular meal times.
