Hey there! I’m curious about how one chooses an author’s name. I don’t want to publish all the books I write under my name, only one! lol So how does one choose a self-publishing name? All those who use an alias, do you have a different one for each book genre? Also, feel free to let me know if I'm overthinking this lol… I tend to do that!

I currently use Publisher Rocket for my Amazon KDP keyword research, but someone recommended another tool the other day and now I can't find the post. Typical 😅 What keyword research tools are you using right now for KDP?Anything better than Publisher Rocket? Would love to test a few new ones.

I love using tools to see what is profitable, but I also like steet-level research!! Please let me know what book you (or your kiddo) would be interested in the most!

In my native language (Polish), Amazon KDP does not seem to support eBook publishing properly. Kindle books in Polish reportedly don’t display correctly on devices, and according to KDP, they may even be removed from sale because the language is considered unsupported. Has anyone here tried publishing in an unsupported language on Amazon? - Were you able to keep your book live without issues? - If you do have an eBook in an unsupported language, is there any workaround to still sell it via Amazon? - And if not through Amazon — how are you handling distribution and sales? - Would really appreciate hearing real experiences

Hi everyone! How is everyone doing? Hope all is well with everybody here! My name is Michael Teferi, I am a BIPOC Poet, Writer, Positive Psychology Coach, and a Debut Poetry Book Author. I am looking to self-publish my poetry books and use Amazon Kindle Direct Publishing (KDP) to connect with inspired readers. I am Al, about inspiring readers readily, realizing their dreams boldly, and acting collectively towards a strong sense of belonging. My first poetry book is called “Transformation: Way of creating one’s life anew”, and my second poetry book is called “Connection: Enjoying and appreciating life fully”. My third in the trilogy as my poetry book will eventually be called “Phenomenal: Being who one is born to be”, and this is in process as we speak, so I have 25 poems thus far and I will complete my third poetry book next month in April 2026. My aunt and Dennis, the Life Enrichment Manager here at Birmingham Green nursing home, are going to be talking and conversing next week about my self-publishing my poetry books and using Amazon KDP going forward.
