🎉 Big audiobook news! The other day I received an email from ACX letting me know that one of my audiobooks was selected for the August Monthly Deal! That means Audible is featuring it at a discounted price throughout the month. I'm especially excited because this isn't my first time being selected. The last time one of my audiobooks was included in a Monthly Deal, I saw a noticeable increase in downloads, which translated into additional Audible royalty income. It's always fun to see one of your backlist titles get a fresh wave of visibility. One thing to know is that this isn't something you can apply for. ACX/Audible selects the titles they want to feature, and while they don't publicly share the exact criteria, being an established, professionally produced audiobook with strong listener appeal and solid performance can help put your title in the running. Ultimately, the editorial team makes the final selections. Moments like this are a great reminder that publishing isn't always about launching something brand new.
