8 Ways to Promote Your Book (Basically FREE)
A lot of people think you need a huge budget to sell books… You don’t. If you’re willing to show up consistently, there are so many ways to get your book in front of people without spending much (or anything at all). 8 𝐖𝐚𝐲𝐬 𝐭𝐨 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐦𝐨𝐭𝐞 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐁𝐨𝐨𝐤 (𝐁𝐚𝐬𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐲 𝐅𝐑𝐄𝐄) 👇 1. 𝐋𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐠𝐞 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐄𝐱𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐍𝐞𝐭𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤 - Start with the people who already know you. Post on your personal Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn—don’t overthink it. People want to support you, they just need to know your book exists. 2. 𝐂𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐒𝐡𝐨𝐫𝐭-𝐅𝐨𝐫𝐦 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐭 - (TikTok, Reels, Shorts)This is one of the fastest ways to get visibility right now. Talk about your book, your story, lessons from it, or even behind-the-scenes of publishing. One video can bring in consistent traffic. 3. 𝐎𝐩𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐢𝐳𝐞 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐀𝐦𝐚𝐳𝐨𝐧 𝐋𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 (SEO matters!)Amazon is a search engine. Your title, subtitle, and keywords should match what people are already searching for. This alone can bring in daily organic sales. 4. 𝐆𝐨 𝐨𝐧 𝐏𝐨𝐝𝐜𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐬 - Find podcasts that align with your topic and pitch yourself as a guest. Share your story, your expertise, and naturally mention your book. This builds authority and gets you in front of new audiences. 5. 𝐋𝐨𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐍𝐞𝐭𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐆𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐩𝐬 & 𝐒𝐩𝐞𝐚𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐆𝐢𝐠𝐬 - Look for local meetups, business groups, libraries, or events where you can speak or connect with people. Bring copies of your book or simply talk about it—real-life connections convert. 6. 𝐆𝐨 𝐋𝐢𝐯𝐞 & 𝐓𝐚𝐥𝐤 𝐀𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐁𝐨𝐨𝐤 - Host a quick live training, Q&A, or story behind why you wrote the book. Lives build trust fast and give people a reason to check it out. 7. 𝐂𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐖𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐎𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐬 - Partner with other creators, podcasters, or community owners. Do guest trainings, interviews, or shoutouts. You get in front of a brand new audience for free. 8. 𝐁𝐨𝐨𝐤 𝐆𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐚𝐰𝐚𝐲𝐬 - Offer free copies of your book (digitally or paperback) to get it into more hands. This can help spark reviews, word-of-mouth, and momentum—especially early on. You don’t need to do all 8 at once. Pick 2–3 and stay consistent… that’s where the momentum starts.

@Krista Brea this is a very good idea 👍 I like this a lot
Growing Your Visibility & Expertise with YouTube
As Skool owners and authors, getting visibility can feel like an uphill battle. You’re trying to promote yourself, your community, your books… and it’s not always easy to stand out. 👉 One of the smartest ways to do this right now? YouTube. It builds trust faster than almost any other platform. People don’t just scroll… they learn, they connect, and they start to see you as the go-to in your space. I’ve been leaning into YouTube more intentionally this year and set a goal to hit 1,500 subscribers. I started the year at 620… We’re nearing the end of Q1…And I’m currently at 1,300. That growth is real, and it’s directly impacting my skool community growth too. 𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭’𝐬 𝐇𝐞𝐥𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐌𝐞 𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐲 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐭 A big part of this has been staying inspired and learning from people who are doing it well. One creator I’ve been learning from is @Des Dreckett with THE CONTENT REVENUE LAB, and I wanted to share what he’s doing because it’s genuinely valuable. 𝐇𝐞'𝐬 𝐤𝐢𝐜𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐨𝐟𝐟 𝐚 𝐜𝐨𝐡𝐨𝐫𝐭, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞’𝐬 𝐰𝐡𝐲 𝐢𝐭 𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐨𝐝 𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐭𝐨 𝐦𝐞: - It’s designed for professionals who want to turn their knowledge into income using YouTube - Small group (8–12 people), so it’s not lost in the noise - Covers everything from channel setup → content systems → monetization - Focuses on a simple but powerful approach: one problem, one solution per video - Includes live calls + recordings so you don’t miss anything 👉 ⚡ 🚀 The investment is $997, and the guarantee is strong: You either make your first $1K… or you stay in future cohorts until you do. 👏💰 👏 He monetized his own channel in under 4 weeks with less than 1,000 subscribers—no viral content, just strategy. 𝐖𝐡𝐲 𝐈’𝐦 𝐒𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐓𝐡𝐢𝐬.... I’m currently deep in another cohort, I’d seriously consider joining this one. Even if you're not ready to take the dive into the cohort - seriously the value he shares in this community is amazing so you have nothing to lose to GO JOIN HIS YOUTUBE GROUP.

Coloring Books Making Big Bucks
It’s happening. Every day. And not just from “professional artists” either. I shared a video about this on my social today, but I wanted to bring it here because not everyone follows me over there, and this is something you need to see. Coloring books are one of the lowest-effort ways to get started with publishing on Amazon. No long manuscripts, no complicated writing… just smart positioning. The biggest mistake I see? People don’t know what to create. That’s where most get stuck. 👉 𝐒𝐨 𝐈 𝐝𝐢𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐜𝐡 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐲𝐨𝐮. 💖 𝐅𝐨𝐫 𝐚 𝐥𝐢𝐦𝐢𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐞 - I put together a pack of 15 profitable sports-inspired keywords that have real demand and strong opportunity for coloring books—and it’s only $10. If you want to start doing this yourself long-term, I highly recommend using Publisher Rocket. It’s a one-time investment and lets you research unlimited keywords so you can validate ideas before you create anything. If you want a low-cost, high-output AI tool to generate coloring pages quickly, I recommend this on 👉 CHECK OUT COLORIN HERE use discount code CREATOR25 for 20% off the tool If you’ve been thinking about creating a coloring book, this is your sign to do it—but do it strategically. You can absolutely do this. And if you get stuck or have questions, use the search bar inside this community!

The Book - Tree and how I came to it...
I created some images and would like to share them with you. I’m sharing the process through the images. At first, I wasn’t happy with the plant I was holding on my handy, so I changed it a few times. I tried grapes, oranges, and pineapples. Then I had the idea of the “book tree.” When some of us talked about our link tree, I remembered the book tree and wanted to share it with you. I like the idea of growing our ideas like a garden and turning them into books, and sharing the process with each other. What do you think?

🚫 5 Self-Publishing Myths That Are Keeping You Stuck
I see these come up ALL the time, and honestly, they’re the reason so many people never get started (or quit too early). Let’s clear a few things up 👇 1. “You need to be a good writer to publish a book” - Nope. There are so many types of books you can create...journals, coloring books, workbooks—and even if you do want to write, you can use AI to support the process. The real skill is choosing the right topic… not being a perfect writer. 2. “Amazon is too saturated” - Amazon is busy because people are BUYING. The issue isn’t saturation—it’s going after the wrong keywords. When you learn how to find gaps in the market, you’ll see there’s still a lot of opportunity. 3. “You need ads to make sales.” Ads are optional, not required. If your book is positioned well with the right keywords, title, and categories, it can sell organically. Ads just help you scale faster once you already have a solid foundation. 4. “You only make money from book sales”...Your book is just the beginning. It can lead to coaching, courses, communities, speaking opportunities, and more. That $15 book can turn into much bigger opportunities if you set it up the right way. 5. “You need to publish a lot of books to make money” It’s not about volume—it’s about strategy. One well-positioned book can outperform dozens of random ones. Focus on quality, research, and positioning first. If you’ve been holding back because of any of these… consider this your sign to move forward. Which one surprised you the most? 👇
