Observation / awarenes
Yesterday I was on my 4th straight 12-hour day (it’s spring, y’all! 🌸🏡). During my last conversation of the day, I caught myself slipping into old habits — moving too fast and skipping the EWTS and VAK process. I’m glad I caught it in the moment and was able to shift back, but it was a good reminder of how easy it is to fall out of the discipline when you’re tired or busy. The process works… but only if we actually use it.

Seller didn't want to pay 3% on selling/listing side At listing appointment I said I understand where you're coming from and it's a completely normal reaction by wanting to net as much as you can from your sell!

I circled back with a cold lead that I haven't touched in 6 months to see how their home search has been. They shared with me that they probably aren't ready to buy. My response was "Thank you for sharing that with me. Most people feel the same way. For the home you inquired about last year, your monthly payment would be $1,700. Whenever you're ready to purchase, would you be comfortable with that payment or something lower?"

I understand what you are saying about feeling rushed. It is understandable that you feel that way with your tight timeline. I appreciate you sharing that with me. You have every right to feel overwhelmed. I understand where you are coming from. Anyone in your shoes would likely feel the same way. Thank you for being honest with me. It makes sense that you feel that way.

My buyers expressed concern about being overwhelmed by the process after an accepted offer. I acknowledged that it can feel very overwhelming since there's lots of moving pieces and validated that this is a common concern especially for first-time homebuyers
