I circled back with a cold lead that I haven't touched in 6 months to see how their home search has been. They shared with me that they probably aren't ready to buy. My response was "Thank you for sharing that with me. Most people feel the same way. For the home you inquired about last year, your monthly payment would be $1,700. Whenever you're ready to purchase, would you be comfortable with that payment or something lower?"

Acknowledge + Validate
Last week someone I went to school with, who I know is in a great position to buy, posed an objection to meet with me. I acknowledged his concern about me potentially pressuring him to start the process and validated him in his feelings of not being quite ready yet. Although it's not the outcome I want, I made him feel comfortable enough to meet with me just to catch up. I think this is a good start in building a stronger connection with him until he's ready to purchase

Calendar Audit: Eliminate - Vendor meetings, Non-negotiable - Lead gen, Tighten - Client meetings Daily Commitment Reset: Conversations Awareness Practice: I noticed my justifications weren't reasonable or more important than the potential outcomes of just doing the task. I need to remember that when it feels like pulling teeth to get something done. Uncomfortableness is a temporary feeling.
