You have a choice!
Most people believe they only have two choices when pushed by a client: Cave in (Submission) or snap back (Aggression). Neither builds respect. There is a third option: Leadership. Boundaries do not require you to be harsh; they simply require you to be clear. When you're clear, the client feels safe. Be honest: When you feel pressured, is your default to cave or to snap?

You have a choice!
We have a disease...
...in our industry called "Yes." We say it because we want to be helpful, or often, because we are afraid to lose the relationship. But here is the truth: A "Yes" that you regret eventually turns into resentment. And you cannot build a healthy business relationship on a foundation of resentment. Where are you currently saying "yes" when you desperately want to say "no"? Drop a comment below. Let’s call it out so we can fix it.
