Okay, I have to be honest with you all. 👋 I missed International Yoga Day. I missed the Summer Solstice. Two of my favorite moments on the yoga calendar, and I was heads down working on things behind the scenes, and let them slip right by. But I did see that Jackie shared a beautiful post about the Solstice, and it made my heart full. This is exactly the kind of community I wanted to build, one that shows up for each other even when I drop the ball. 😄 We're all in this together! But let me take a step back to acknowledge what I missed: 🧘 International Yoga Day was on Sunday, June 21st. A global celebration of this practice that has genuinely changed my life. I've been practicing for over 13 years and teaching for nearly a decade, and I still find something new on the mat every single time. That's the magic of yoga. It meets you exactly where you are — every. single. time. ☀️ Summer Solstice, the longest day of the year, was also on Sunday! In yoga philosophy, the solstice is a powerful moment of transition, a natural invitation to pause, reflect, and set intention for the season ahead. 👨 Oh, and of course, let's not forget Father's Day, which ALSO took place on Sunday. I hope you had a lovely weekend. I know Father's Day can be a difficult holiday for some, and if it was, I'm glad we're past it. Now that we are past that busy weekend and kicking off likely one of your busiest seasons, I'd love to know: What do you want this summer to feel like in your body? In your mind? Drop it below. ⬇️ And I want you to know: I'm back! I have good things coming for this community. Starting this week, I'll be showing up on a regular schedule — classes, tips, check-ins, and more. More on that soon. 🌿 ~ Shauna
