I wanted to share this with you all. I found this little brooch at an antique mall and paid $7 for it. I thought he would bring a little bit because of being a mushroom. When I went to sell him for a starting bid of $1, I turned him over to look for a makers mark and seen 14 K. I thought surely not but I was like let me test him and bring him back next show. I took him to the jeweler. He told me it was solid gold, coral ball, and emerald eyes. His comps were pretty high, some as high as $1500. I sold him for $750!! He was only about two inches long!!

Thought he was just a fabulous weirdo!! Turns out he is a rare Hattie Carnegie Dodo bird brooch.. 😳😳 Paid $10 what should I list him for?!?

I won this lot for 9.98!!!! I figured 10 bucks what do I have to lose? If if even a couple of these are good pieces I’m golden. I’m over the moon with what I got!!!

Hauls like this are few and far between for me. So I'm Thrilled! 17 lbs of jewelry. $100 Mostly 1980's-Y2K but tons of great pieces. All individually bagged and name brands are all tagged. At least 75 Avon necklaces. Brighton, Cookie Lee, Lia Sophia, Alex and Ani, Silpada, Monet, Jessica Simpson, Trifari, Japan, Real pearls, freshwater pearls, some 925, glass, Murano, semi precious stones, I could go on and on. 🙌🏻 This is clearly the cleanest lot of jewelry I have ever bought and I am overjoyed with the fact that I'm not going to have to separate and untangle and research and look through a loop at every hallmark (I'm 1/2 blind so that's my nightmare.) i got some pretty depressing news at the doctor today so I needed a good thing to happen. This was the good thing. 🙏🏻❤️🙌🏻 A good lot like this makes up for the 10 crappy ones prior😉! I hope everybody has a great week.
