Buying lots from ebay
I took the risk on a lot I found on eBay. I wrote about it a couple of weeks ago. It met most of my criteria in buying, except one. Lots of pictures but no pics of the backs. It was a bad risk I made. There really wasn’t anything to salvage. Main issue was the smell. It was dirty and dusty and attacked my asthma something fierce. I reached out to seller, in a very nice way and asked for a $12.00 refund (I paid $44). She wrote back apologizing profusely saying she buys tons of estates, hadn’t gone through it except to take pictures. She refunded me $32.00. Even without her refund the whole event gave me an opportunity to flex my wings and just try. I see now what I should have done in selecting. Complete learning experience. Thanks Team Skool!!

@Scott Joubert I wasn’t really looking for a lot. I’m trying unload the mass I’ve created. I just wanted to try will we were talking about it. But I’d love to follow you on eBay. Can you send me your name there? When you have time. Thanks for the idea.

Just seeing this. I hope you got some wonderful pieces. That’s exciting.
Help!!!
I purchased this hoping it would be 925. It was listed as unmarked, unsigned silver torque. I bought it because it looked really old and it's kinda cool. Ive researched it and it looks like other pieces from India (tribal). Some sellers on ebay and Posh are.listing it as 800. However, it fails the acid test. Did I just lose $100?

This is a tough one. I’ve seen it’s Chinese, Afghan, and others. I’d just take it to a jeweler to see if they can help. I don’t think you’ve lost all of your $100. You’ll be able to sell it for something. It’s beautiful. Having more information will help sell it for more
Jewelry Identification
Hello all! I found this thrifting. It has some condition issues but I couldnt pass it up. I thought 1940s Czech or Austrian. I did notice that one of the gold beads is a different gold tone then the others so I believe that was replaced. Thoughts on time/origin? Thanks for the input.

Show Time selection
I’ve been selling for about 15 months on Whatnot now. , I have had my streams at the same time for the last 10 months and took time to schedule my streams without conflicting with sporting events and can’t help but challenge myself to do better. I’m not a jewelry hound yet but doing great in the outdoors category. I am curious at how others choose their time slots? Thanks in advance

I have to consider health factors that prevent me from being repetitive each week. I’m not consistent yet. A factor that I have to change but can’t seem to do it. So I tend to run things as I have the time in any given week. I hate to do it like this. Hate it.
