A friend sent me these today and I was just glancing through them and man are they super detailed! A ton of education in there. I can't wait to take some time to really go through them. Does anyone else have them?

These finds don’t happen every day…
I wanted to share this with you all. I found this little brooch at an antique mall and paid $7 for it. I thought he would bring a little bit because of being a mushroom. When I went to sell him for a starting bid of $1, I turned him over to look for a makers mark and seen 14 K. I thought surely not but I was like let me test him and bring him back next show. I took him to the jeweler. He told me it was solid gold, coral ball, and emerald eyes. His comps were pretty high, some as high as $1500. I sold him for $750!! He was only about two inches long!!

I won this lot for 9.98!!!! I figured 10 bucks what do I have to lose? If if even a couple of these are good pieces I’m golden. I’m over the moon with what I got!!!

Everyone, thank you so much. This is clearly one of those random things that was a total luck out so I think Brad for the misspelling recommendation I’d never thought to misspelled brooch though so I was just brainstorming. What else could I misspell and that spelling approach came out what was surprising is that those hamburger pieces were in there in Amber was listed in the title I just don’t think the seller knew much about jewelry so that was also a bonus but AnyWho, if there’s something in there, you’re interested in feel free to make me an offer if not, these are going to my shows in my shop so thanks everyone for the feedback. It’s it feels nice to have a good win.

What is painted on this Porcelain Cab?
I’d love some input on this brooch. I purchased it at a thrift store. ChatGPT thinks they are hand painted fish. I see llamas possibly. It doesn’t help there is a chip in the porcelain, but still…what the heck is it? Filigree is gorgeous lots of patina and wear, but the painting is nuts. What do you guys think. Also era? Mid Century?

Looks like a Turkish piece I have. Painting style is very similar. Mine is as just birds but same style ba ground and painting technique. I agree your looks like two fish and one bird.

Rewards Club? Do you use it?
Now’s the time to change, keep or eliminate our Rewards club. I’d love to hear your thoughts on whether you use them or not should you want to share. TBH…I don’t fully understand the program. I probably won’t renew it.
