Chase Sapphire Reserve Business approved with ITIN only

I applied for the Chase Sapphire Reserve for Business last week as a sole proprietor using only my ITIN. No EIN, no LLC, and no current relationship with Chase. When I applied, it went to 7 to 10 business days review. On Monday I called back, and yesterday I called again and was told to wait for a letter. I asked if there was any way to upload requested documents online instead, and later Chase sent me the request by email.

Today I uploaded my passport, proof of address, and copy of ITIN right away. After that I called again, and it was approved instantly on the call for USD 10,000.

assisted me throughout the process, which made it easier to keep moving when Chase kept saying to wait for letter.

For background, I was also approved for Apple Card last month with a USD 3,000 limit, so this was a really good next step for me.

If anyone is in review with Chase and gets told to wait for a letter, it may be worth asking if they can send the document upload request by email instead.
