You can do hard things.
Today is probably one of the hardest days I’ve had in prep. I don’t know what it is, but everything was hard. 🤣😱 from the moment I woke up I was like wow I don’t feel rested at all. And let me tell you the entire day I felt at all. I was still able to get my 15,000 steps in. Water and food on point. Waist training done. Four for the core. And a gigantic leg workout that took me over an hour and a half. Lots of posing and stretching. To include a full workday. And then I finally unpacked my suitcase Ope. We got another trip coming up so I have to get my laundry. Anywhoooo. We all have problems. We all have things going on. We are all busy. Focus on the good. Be present where your feet are. If you’re feeling overwhelmed.. take a moment for yourself to sit in silence or journal. If you’re feeling a little sad, poor into yourself and read something. Go out there and be great.

JUDGES FEEDBACK
I’ve had so many people asking me what the feedback was from this weekend, so I wanted to come on here and explain a little bit more about the reality of competing because this sport is EXTREMELY subjective. Going into Miami, the feedback we had heard for bikini was that they were rewarding a softer look. So naturally, a lot of us came in trying to fit that criteria. We intentionally made sure my abs weren’t overly dominant and focused on bringing a softer presentation overall… just for the judges to then tell us they actually wanted MORE conditioning and a more conditioned core. 😂 So yes… next show, the abs are absolutely coming out LOL. That’s the nature of bodybuilding though. You can win one weekend and place differently the next. It all comes down to the lineup, the look they’re rewarding that day, and what the judges want to see. It doesn’t make the work less valuable and it doesn’t suddenly erase what was built behind the scenes. And truthfully? I’m incredibly proud of the package I brought. I got SECOND at my first show in Miami and qualified for NATIONALS. 🤍🏆 That alone is such a huge accomplishment to me because I know the amount of discipline, sacrifice, structure, consistency, and mental strength it took to get there. Most people will never fully understand what it takes physically and mentally to get your body to this level. The cardio, the exhaustion, the food, the training, the pressure, the constant adjustments… it’s a lot. But I love it. Now we have 3.5 weeks until Chattanooga, Tennessee for Nationals and these next few weeks are going to demand even MORE out of me. More cardio. More precision. More conditioning. Less food. More digging mentally. I’m excited for it. Because this entire process continues to prove something I preach to you guys all the time: most people are capable of far more than they think they are. The problem is not capability. The problem is usually the excuses, the fear, the inconsistency, or negotiating with yourself before you even truly try.

She told me something that I think a lot of moms need to hear… She didn’t magically create more time.
She just stopped putting herself last. She’s a mom of 4, works part time, and her husband runs a busy farm and ranch. Life is FULL. And for a long time, her biggest excuse was: “I don’t have time.” But somewhere along the way, that mindset shifted. Not because life suddenly slowed down or that she found extra hours in the day. She just started showing up for herself consistently. She told me one of the biggest things coaching helped her with was accountability and learning how to simplify things instead of overcomplicating them. She used to think tracking food was “too hard.” Now she pre-logs most of her meals with ease. This stopped being a “fad” for her. It became her lifestyle. She said the Intentional Energy version of herself is the BEST version of herself. Not just physically, but mentally too. A better mom. A better wife. A better nurse. More patient. More grounded. More intentional. And now her boys even love walking and working out with her That’s why this matters. Because when women finally start taking care of themselves, everybody around them benefits too. If you’re tired of feeling stuck in the cycle of “I’ll start when life slows down”… maybe it’s time to stop waiting. I currently have 2 spots open this week for 1:1 coaching If you’re tired of constantly putting yourself last, starting over every Monday, or feeling like you have to figure it all out alone… this is your sign to stop waiting for life to magically slow down. You need support, structure, accountability, and someone in your corner. Reach out and let’s chat!!!
