I am awake, I am alive and today is the day!
Day One of the Indigenous Women's Leadership Fire I created for SIoux Lookout First Nations Health Authority (SLFNHA).
And yes, I said fire.
Not seminar.
Not workshop.
Fire.
Because I wanted to invoke the healing power and traditional ways of sitting around a fire to share and teach.
It won't be done around an actual fire (pretty sure the conference centre would frown on that) but I will share my vision with participants, invoking that feeling of safety and warmth that is always provided by good people surrounding a good fire.
It's going to be an AWESOME day for me and I pray an awesome day for YOU, my Speaker Friend.
