I started on LinkedIn before I was ready. Here's how ⬇️
Alright my friends. When I first started on LinkedIn in 2022/2023, it was brutal. Everything was garbage. My content. DM strategies. Comments. Everything you stress over today after just starting out, I struggled with as well. I had no real system for anything, I was simply guessing what would work / not work. For you however, you don't have to stress over this any more. I did the work for you over the last 3 years. (1) Start before you are ready Most people say this. Almost nobody executes on it. I've launched things that flopped completely. I've posted videos I wasn't confident in. Some of them became my best-performing content. LinkedIn rewards consistency far more than it rewards trying to be perfect at anything. (2) Share the process, not just the results Wins get attention, but the behind-the-scenes content builds trust. How you build your systems. How you structure your week. What actually goes wrong. The process is what turns viewers into followers into buyers. (3) Conversations > Reach Comments and DMs are where you'll land clients. Content attracts them. Conversations close them. Founders who only post and never engage are leaving the most valuable part of the system unused. (4) Content is one pillar, not the whole system Posts, LinkedIn Lives, Newsletters, DMs, and Profile. All five work together. Founders who rely only on content wonder why they have followers but not clients. (5) Use AI for efficiency, not personality AI comments are immediately obvious. AI content is immediately obvious. Use it to save time on automations and research. Don't let it replace the specific, personal perspective that actually builds authority. (6) Launch, measure, adjust Overthinking a post for three days produces the same result as posting it in 30 minutes. Ship it. Look at the data. Refine from there. I'll go over more of this system on Wednesday. RSVP for the Live LinkedIn Growth System Masterclass Here: alexcolhoun.com/masterclass
