Vaughn's December Challenge Tracker
This is the kick in the pants I needed to start being consistent on Linkedin. I'm excited to see what things will look like on the other side. Dec. 2 - Today's Post - 10 Comments (I shouldn't have left this for the end of the day.)

The Spark I Needed!
The main reason I joined this community is because I am transitioning from a career in cybersecurity sales to building my own email marketing business. Most of my LinkedIn network is still from my cybersecurity world, not my target audience. Because of that, I hesitated to post about my new direction. I was worried about how it would be perceived. The fear is still there, but I posted anyway. Nine days into this December challenge, I'm starting to see some traction. Nothing huge, but more impressions, comments, and reshares than I am used to. Then today, something unexpected happened. A former coworker called me just to say my recent LinkedIn posts have been phenomenal. He told me how impressed he's been, asked about my business, and offered to help. He was one of the people I worried most about. That encouragement meant more than I realized. No prospects yet. But knowing people are paying attention is the lighter fluid I needed to keep going. Thanks for the platform, training and coaching @Alex Colhoun
WIN!
Hi everyone! I wanted to share a genuine win from yesterday, hoping it provides some inspiration and a clear takeaway for your own personal branding efforts. I recently designed a new LinkedIn banner for a client. When I shared the finished work in a LinkedIn post, the client, completely unprompted, left an incredibly validating comment. The result? I took a screenshot of that genuine, high-authority client praise and turned it into new content.I got two clients from it. Here is yesterday's post link: https://www.linkedin.com/posts/hhdipto_want-a-career-that-feels-like-a-million-dollars-activity-7404122562911268864-Z-uZ Here is the main post link where I shared the LinkedIn banner transformation post: https://www.linkedin.com/posts/hhdipto_announcement-this-is-your-chance-for-a-prestige-activity-7388903300114477056-crwk

This is incredible! Thanks for sharing.
Why so Cringy?
As I'm looking for my ideal clients on linkedin and commenting on posts. It's really hurting my brain. As a copywriter, I'm floored by the number of posts clearly written by AI. They all sound the same with the same formatting. AI slop like this: "Most coaches don’t lose clients because they’re not good… They lose clients because they look unserious online." Who talks like that? Even folks that that don't speak english as their first language are still able to string words together that sound human and relatable. Maybe I should consider adding LinkedIn ghostwriting as a service.

@Alex Colhoun That's probably true. If they can't be bothered to at least remove the em dashes, there's probably a lot missing in their "business".
