Welcome to Worth Waker - start here
Hello hello, First off, a very warm welcome to you to Inner Peace Walker: Worth Waker! I'm thrilled to have you here in my unique space where we'll ultimately create your path to your inner peace, as defined by you. Since you've just got here, I don't want to launch everything at you straightaway and risk overwhelming you, so for now, please do these 3 things below: 1. Head on to the About tab and watch The Trailer and The Primer videos 2. Read the pinned post called The Explainer 3. Say hello and introduce yourself in the comments below: - What brought you here? - What area of your life feels "off" or needs attention? (It could be career, relationships, self-confidence, etc.) - What’s one thing you hope to achieve by being part of this community? Don't forget to welcome a few others by responding to their comments. If you're new to Skool, then responding to others comments is key, because that'll mean people liking your comments back, and every time someone likes a post or comment of yours, you get a point and points earn you levels. 5 Points gets you level 2 which unlocks your ability to post here in this community, so it's worth leaving 5 comments in the community to get your 5 likes. At level 3, you unlock your first course. As you participate in each community, you earn more courses, and you develop more valuable relationships (with both me and the other members inside this group). This is a community that cares about you and your success, and rewards you for being an active member and sharing your journey, progress and setbacks. The ideas and work that Worth Waker presents works great when you just absorb and practice on them on your own, but go to another level entirely when there's discussions and exchanges going on between other like-minded folks. Any questions? Ask them below and we'll help you out! It's time to awaken your worth. Feel supersonic, Vishad

The Explainer
So then, I take it you're here from the start here post..nice one, good to have you here. The purpose of The Explainer is just to lay out some details on how things are structured here at Worth Waker. Don't worry, it's not complicated stuff, I just thought it might be a bit much to launch at you in 1 post, hence splitting it out here. If you've got any questions, feel free to ask them in the comments below. The Mantra The mantra of the group is simple: to create your path to your inner peace from wherever you want to start from in your life requires a reconciliation of your low self worth, which is the one root cause beneath your symptoms, goals, issues and challenges. When you reach the place of understanding that it's not about the surface-level stuff, but the one root cause that's at the heart of it all, you'll be ready to start to unlock your changes via your mindset transformation. There's no magic and it's not an instant fix - it's a combination of patience, persistence, curiosity and questioning that'll get you there. The Categories Beyond the general discussion and announcement threads, there's 3 main categories that you can drop questions, thoughts, clarifications, whatever's on your mind, really: - Your symptoms - since we're going to be talking a lot about getting to the root cause of low self worth from whichever area you want to start from, this category is here for you to discuss your symptoms, signals, signs etc in/from those areas of life - namely: anxiety, worry or stress, anger, depression, addictions, feeling lost, stuck or unfulfilled, health issues, career change, money, weight issues, relationships or low self esteem. Just put the relevant area in the title of your post and then ask/comment away about it - Make Your Offer - if you're a coach, healer, practitioner that has a high ticket offer, feel free to share details of it in this thread. I'm all for encouraging sharing what you can offer to help people, as long as its done fairly and with the collective in mind. Check out the thread for the rules before you post. - Music Musings - Worth Waker isn't just the place for self worth reconciliation. There's a lot of musicians and music fans here, so this is the thread to talk all things music and also to shout out if you want to be a guest on my podcast Soundtrack Of Your Life

Worth Waker's song - Supersonic: Oasis
A lot of other folks here on Skool have posted a group song for their community, so I thought it's about time Worth Waker got one. To be honest, there's only one choice to be had here, and that track is Supersonic by Oasis. *Oasis nerd alert* In the Oasis catalogue, Supersonic stands out on its own in terms of how it was written and recorded where the writer Noel Gallagher wrote it in a few minutes during a break in the recording studio where they were trying to nail the recording of a debut single for their management. Supersonic was written 'in whatever time it takes for 6 guys to finish a Chinese takeaway' and was recorded in full by the band in 1 take - no editing, redoing or filtering done, just created and recorded in 1 go, and that is the version you hear on the album today. After the distinctive drumbeat mixed with the instantly recognisable riff to kick the song off, the F#m chord roars in with the 2 opening lines: 🎵 I need to be myself, I can't be no-one else 🎵 Symptomatic of the whole song, both lines are delivered with utter conviction and swagger by the singer Liam Gallagher. This opening couplet itself reminds me that being myself is something I’d forgotten in the face of trying to fit in with a crowd, because showing my true emotions/self wasn’t ‘acceptable’ to those around me. Suppressing my true emotions only meant that they’d burst out later at some point, which wasn’t healthy. Also, trying to be someone else would be trying to live up to expectations set externally, be it from someone else or society in general. This approach invariably means that if I didn’t meet those expectations, I’d feel like I failed, generate low self worth and hence wouldn’t feel good enough. I hence took responsibility for everything in my life. That doesn’t mean no-one else has any responsibility, it just means I am completely responsible for everything happening to me, and don't need to alter my values for anything or anyone. Hence: I need to be myself, I can’t be no-one else.
Example Matrix - Anxiety and overthinking
You don’t have an overthinking problem. You have a safety and certainty problem. You spend hours replaying conversations, analysing what someone really meant, or predicting every possible outcome before making a simple decision. You call it “being prepared.” But really, it’s exhausting. You try to calm yourself down. You try to think positively. You try to talk yourself out of the spiral. But your mind doesn’t listen. Because the moment something feels uncertain or risky, the overthinking flares right back up. Because the real issue was never the situation itself. It was the belief that you’re only safe when you’re fully in control. That belief is running everything. It starts with emotions - specifically the fear response that gets activated when you don’t feel in control. That feeds into anxiety - your mind racing to fill every gap with prediction and protection. And that keeps you stuck in a cycle of overthinking - trying to manage life through mental micromanagement instead of internal stability. But peace doesn’t come from more thinking. It comes from breaking the pattern that tells you uncertainty is dangerous and learning healthier ways to meet your need for safety. If you want to quiet your mind, it’s not about controlling every outcome, it’s about changing the way you relate to uncertainty. Start by noticing when your mind jumps into prediction mode, and instead ask yourself: “What feeling am I trying to avoid right now?” That one question can shift you from spiralling to stabilising. What's been your experience with overthinking and anxiety? Drop your responses in the comments below
