LUNCH & LAUNCH is happening in 13 hours
3,2,1…
In a day and age when subscribing to a newsletter seems old school, i cannot deny the timing of anrticles annd writing released and how they impact people at the right time in their life. This one hit for me, tell me if it hits you too. Thanks again James Clear 3 Ideas From Me I. "Praise others. It will bring them peace of mind. Do not expect others to praise you. It will bring you peace of mind." II. "We often think that we want an open road and the ability to choose any direction for ourselves. But sometimes, what we need is a tunnel that can reduce our choices and send us in a focused direction." III. "The person who learns the most in any classroom is the teacher. If you really want to learn a topic, then "teach" it. Write a book. Teach a class. Build a product. Start a company. The act of making something will force you to learn more deeply than reading ever will."
FINDING NEMO
A while back, in May i felt like we were on track to get organized. To culminate, educate and dominate with our vision for Skool. Then we got busy. Demands poured in like water in an over-loaded canoe in the middle of a raging river. All angles made it feel impossible to metabolize, and we made it worse by deciding to switch platforms and flip the table on some old ways. Fuck it. Just get rid of it- start over. At one point it felt dangerous like putting coca~cola into mamas homemade chili. But after holding on tight, some simmering, the chaos turned into alignment. We starting to see our strategy formulate working systems and eventually signs of radical progress. I met a dude named @Will Nemo from Canada that found us through a Skool search somehow, and shared his brilliance of a freedom forged mission to take back self sovereignty for and by the people of Canada… and beyond. We were on the same page 💯 . Even though i wanted to help his mission i knew i was at max capacity, and if things didn’t come easy, i was going to have to forfeit my coaching position, and involvement for the time being. Sometimes all that you wish to do in life must be cast into a timeline that spreads wildly into the sights beyond your patience. I know that has been the case for me. However pressing the boundaries has been one of the great pleasures of my sanity; riding the tight line between madness and self-defined laziness. So hear me when i say, i see you Will… and all those here with big dreams. All that you wish to do in life. I want it too. Continue to be a good example of what a recipe of patience, creation, a demand for excellence, delusions of grandeur, and total exhaustion through your work can create. It’s not disaster even though it teases the edge sometimes. Life is as magical as it is cruel. You can make quantum leaps that start like a pebble washing down small downhill stream …into a rapid… and soon as you make it rain… a flash flood.
Roof is a man made thing...
Friends its been a minute, as we continue to expand our total vision for Grounded Strength & Ground Up Living, I find inspirations that I think are worth sharing. Even simple ones that feel like you've heard them 1000x. However hears something you've maybe never heard...Repetition is the enemy of scarcity, and the army of habit. Enjoy
1 QUESTION FOR YOU
If your partner or close friend could change one habit of yours, what would they choose — and why might they be right?
SHOUT OUT FRIDAY 6/27
Hey all who are doing the Hot Summer Bod Challenge, just starting with us at Grounded or if you have decided to make a quantum leap in any area of your life! Just wanted to hear you shout out whats good- or give a shout out to somone else you think deserves it! Here are some more great words to absorb, and make your own. From author James Clear... "Mental toughness is often framed as the perseverance that gets you across the finish line: - Find a way to make it happen - Push through the pain - Grind it out to the end But most days, mental toughness isn't about crossing the finish line. It's about getting to the starting line: - Show up when no one is watching - Keep your eye on the ball - Do a little bit every day Mental toughness is not skipping the days that are easy to skip." -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I wanted to give a Shout Out to one of my favorite newer clients in the gym, Emaly Perez! Emaly has been crushing the resistance in in both her mind, and in the gym. This week she lifted more than she ever thought she could lift. With impressive discipline to just keep showing every appt, 3x weekly she is having breakthroughs every week. Congrats Emaly for working through old habits and thought patterns to find several wins! Keep going!
